Youth Event: Rock Climbing - Postponed

On Sunday, March 30th, Pastor Ben brought in his hang board so the youth could get a taste of rock climbing before the event on April 12th.
Youth got to test their arm and grip strength on this specialized board that had varying ledge depths. The rock climbing event at PeakRVA was scheduled for this Saturday, but it has been postponed. There were several youth interested in attending the event, but had other scheduled activities preventing them from attending. It was decided at Monday's (4/7) Youth Council meeting that it would be best to postpone the event until June, when more youth could attend.
We even had some youth leadership give it a try!
And a few other members got in on the action!
Then new date for the Rock Climbing event is June 14th! We do need youth to register for this event ahead of time, as there is some safety paperwork that needs to be completed before the day of! Stay tuned for more details as the event gets closer!
