Paul wrote to Timothy,
“When you come, bring the cloak that I left with Carpus at Troas, also the books, and above all, the parchments.”
2 Timothy 4:13
Sound familiar? If Paul had need of books: how much more does the growing Christian of today need books for Bible study, for reference, for inspiration in Christian living. You don’t have to love to read or have a lot of free time but spending even a few minutes each day studying God’s word and enriching your Spiritual well-being or just lifting your spirits with a good Christian book is time well spent.
The church library is more than just a bunch of books – it is a great resource to help members in their individual walk with God and as we work together as a church to grow spiritually and to understand God’s message to us. Learning, studying, and thinking are life-time activities.
We are truly blessed by all the excellent Christian literature available these days.
